Facade Improvement

This grant is intended to assist groundfloor businesses and property owners with funding external building improvements that noticeably improve the look and feel of the surrounding commercial area.

Patio Activation

This grant is intended to assist groundfloor businesses and property owners with funding enhancements to existing or planned patios on 16th Street to enhance the vibrancy of the pedestrian realm.

**If the planned enhancement is intended to be installed in the public right-of-way on 16th Street, you must have an active patio lease with the Downtown Denver Business Improvement District (DDBID). Please click this link for more information.

Demising Incentive

This grant is intended to enhance the leasability of available groundfloor spaces facing 16th Street that exceed 3,000 square feet in area by creating smaller spaces that are more attractive to tenants under today’s market conditions.

Leasing Incentive

The Denver Retail Attraction Incentive Fund was established to attract new retail tenants to 16th Street, reduce retail vacancies, and activate and leverage the significant City of Denver investments in 16th Street.
